SARAH Ten years later, another Terminator helped us destroy Miles Dyson's lab, files, everything.

Sarah glances at a prototype of a assembly line robot on the other side of the room. Old memories surface.

STEVE But you told me they kill people.

SARAH John had reprogrammed it in the future to protect him from a liquid metal terminator in the past. If he hadn't sent it from the future, we'd be dead now.

STEVE But why'd you blow up Cyberdyne?

SARAH Listen to me. Miles Dyson was in the process of inventing a chip used by Sky-Net. Sky-Net was going start a nuclear war on August 29th, 1997. Blowing up Cyberdyne delayed the war.

Steve has the look of "Okay..." He notices Sarah letting her guard down while she lets out a sigh of exhaustion and frustration. Steve jumps up in his chair and bolts for the door. John sprints over with lightning reflexes and trips him. Steve hits the floor. Sarah squeezes the trigger of her gun. A round hits the floor 6 inches from Steve's face.

JOHN
(quietly to Steve) That was stupid.

SARAH Get up, goddam it! You're gonna help us.

STEVE Why? For all I know YOU'RE the one who killed Dyson. Play the disc in the player!

John reluctantly plugs in a TV and the DVD player sitting in a cabinet. He presses PLAY. Sarah, John and the Terminator appear onscreen while sabotaging Cyberdyne in 1994.

STEVE I know you were in the Pescadero nut hatch. You still belong there because your sick fantasies killed my father.

JOHN
(to Sarah) I made the Terminator promise not to kill anyone, and YOU did?!

SARAH No! (shouting at Steve) I don't kill people, asshole, I kill machines!
