| John and Sarah are in the cross hairs of the rifles of FBI snipers on rooftops. We hear McCallum's voice on the radio. |
| On the street, McCallum
lifts his arm. He gives a signal to the FBI snipers to hold their
fire. THE PHONE in the apartment RINGS. Sarah picks up the receiver. |

| Sarah flings the phone
across the room. It SHATTERS the window. AN FBI SNIPER watches from the roof across the street. His finger holds the trigger of an MP-5. He is startled by the shattering glass. He pulls the trigger. SARAH pulls back on John as we hear the first shot. BANG! A round breaks through glass in the window. Sarah holds John as she falls with him to the floor. She covers John with her body. Cortez, Hector and Valdez drop to the floor, grabbing M-16's. |
