EXT. -- DESERT -- EARLY MORNING |
The horizon is beet red from the rising sun. Electric high tension lines hang over the desert on towers near a road. A BRIGHT VORTEX opens in the sky above the power lines. Blue Plasma, in double helix formation, drops out of the vortex. The air surrounding the plasma ripples with intensity. THE PLASMA HELIX wraps itself around a power line like a snake coiled around a tree branch. The plasma turns bright white. It SHOOTS down the length of the line. A highway sign by the road reads -- LOS ANGELES - 75 MILES |
EXT. -- DOWNTOWN L.A. -- PARKING LOT -- DAY |
