| THE TERMINATOR aims the MAG-10 at the gas tank of the semi approaching Sarah's car. BOOM! One shot, nothing. BOOM! The second shot. KABOOOM! The tank on the semi EXPLODES. SARAH AND JOHN flinch. The blast forces Sarah's car out of her lane. |
| The Neon SCRAPES against
wall of the tunnel. SPARKS FLY. THE ONCOMING SEMI bursts into flames and jack-knifes. The rear end of the trailer scrapes against the wall in front of Sarah's car. THE TRAILER SLAMS against a small abutment. It lifts up. Sarah's car passes under the trailer's wheels!! The wheels leave ruts and skid marks on the roof. The trailer SLAMS on the pavement. John looks up to the ceiling of the tunnel. |
| THE LIGHT FIXTURES are blasted off of the ceiling of the tunnel by BURSTS OF ENERGY from the plasma helix of the T-2000. They SMASH on the pavement. Sarah SWERVES to avoid them. THE CHASE exits the tunnel near the L.A.X main terminal. The Neon climbs an entrance ramp and heads East onto Century Blvd. |

| The T-2000 plasma snakes
and arcs from one building to another. Signs and payphones are blasted
from buildings. THE TERMINATOR aims the AK-47 out of the window of the semi. He aims. SMAAASHHH!!! The semi-truck sideswipes a limo disrupting the Terminator's aim. The chase turns North onto the Interstate 405 freeway entrance. |
