| INT. HALLWAY -- DAY |
| Sarah and John scramble
down the hall. Fluorescent lights flicker and POP behind them. Glass,
phosphorus, broken plastic and ceiling tile rain from the ceiling while
they run. Two snake-like forms of BRIGHT BLUE PLASMA bob and weave from
one fluorescent light to another and SHATTER the fixtures, blasting out
ceiling tiles. THE HALLWAY FLOOR partly collapses into the 1st floor. Sarah and John bolt through a door to the stairwell. John flicks off the stairwell lights. Sarah pauses, looking back. |
| John high-tails it down the steps as the blue snaking plasma jumps from the hallway lights to the stairwell lights. The plasma bounces off the fixture; plops to the floor. |
| Upon reaching the bottom
of the steps, Sarah rips up a linoleum panel from the floor. She shoves
John into an underground electrical conduit tunnel. A BRADLEY'S TURRET PUNCHES THROUGH the wall. Sarah dives into the maintenance tunnel just before the Bradley's front wheels collapse the wall onto the opening. |
| EXT. ABANDONED BUILDING -- PARKING LOT -- DAY |
| Sarah and John KICK
their way out of an empty electric transformer box, 100 feet behind the
building. The building collapses behind them while the Bradleys pummel
it. They run to Sarah's Neon near a large rubbish pile. ATF AGENTS FIRE their MP-5's. Bullets RIP across the ground. PLASMA shoots upward out of the dirt and pierces the Bradleys' gas tank. BOOOOOOM!! The Bradley BLASTS STRAIGHT UP in the air. The ATF agents hit the dirt. The Neon's tires SQUEAL; it tears down the alley. |
