INT. -- APARTMENT ACROSS STREET -- EL SEGUNDO -- MORNING.

We're in a room filled with surveillance equipment aimed at Sarah and John's apartment. Dish shaped devices, phone tapping equipment, laptops, tape recorders, video cameras sound analyzers, Radio Frequency locators, the whole works.

(filtered)
We can't hack 'em now. Not here.

Standing in the room are three men in dark suits, FBI agents. One agent; Caucasian, in his forties;6 feet tall, moustache, his name; Agent Edward McCallum.

Agent McCallum
They're on to us.

Two other men wear protective black vests, black boots, black pants, dark blue shirts. We see the yellow letters "ATF" Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. An FBI agent turns to Agent McCallum.

FBI Agent
Agent McCallum? When do we start?

Agent McCallum
Organize the Teams.

The FBI agent uses a cell phone to give the word. Agent McCallum uses a laptop to access all the information on Sarah from the LAPD's main computer. Sarah's picture; her arrest records, the destruction of Cyberdyne, appear on the screen.


INT. -- LAPD HQ -- COMPUTER RECORDS DIVISION -- MORNING

A police CLERK looks at her watch. Gets up.

Clerk
Hmm. Break time.

The Clerk walks out the door, locks it.

A FLASH OF LIGHT

illuminates the room. Blue static plasma pours out of the fluorescent ceiling lights. The Terminator resumes normal form. His right hand, still in plasma form, shapes into a data jack. He connects himself to the computer. The Terminator copies every file the FBI agent is accessing. The computer screen shows Sarah's old mug shots. Videos from the institution play in small windows.
