forcefully clear people from the area. Cars are turned away from the street. FBI agents take sniper positions on rooftops. ATF agents prepare to charge the building.

with Tear Gas launchers roll onto both ends of the street.
Agent McCallum, wearing a bullet-proof vest, walks with a slight limp behind a RYDER moving van with an ATF agent.

It always will. Six years ago, a big friend of ConnorŐs shot it off.

ON THE ROOF

Two FBI agents hide behind a vent, aim their sights of their rifles's at the apartment window. A wave of plasma sweeps over the agents, revealing their true identities. T-TWO THOUSAND makes a move, the Terminator holds her back.

INT. -- APARTMENT -- EL SEGUNDO -- DAY

John glances out the window. The street is deserted. He walks to the window. Cortez and Sarah notice and follow him.

John
Where's the traffic?

Sarah's paranoia returns. She reaches out to John while picking up her Browning. Dave stands up to look. Sarah sees the head of a person in a black uniform on a building across the street.

Everybody hide! Now!
