| 25. EXT. -- TERMINATOR IN SEMI CHASING JOHN -- STREET -- DAY |
| The Terminator aims the AK-47 out of the window, and fires it at the pick-up truck. SMAAASHHH!!! The semi-truck sideswipes a limo, flipping it over onto its roof and disrupting the Terminator's aim. John looks back from his POV. The Terminator floors the accelerator, ramming the pick up, knocking the box loose from the frame. From the Terminator's POV, we see a map of L.A. showing the T-ONE THOUSAND's location, rapidly approaching the same intersection. |
| 26. EXT. -- INTERSECTION -- VERMONT AND SUNSET -- DAY |
| T-ONE THOUSAND and Sarah approach the intersection of Sunset and Vermont Street west of Hollywood. CUT to the two chases approaching from the the northern and southern directions of Vermont. INTERCUT Sarah's and John's POV while seeing each other in their respective vehicles as they turn the same corner and go West on Sunset. CUT BACK to the both of them sharply turning onto Sunset Boulevard. The Terminator makes a wide turn with the semi around the sharp corner. The police cruiser PLOWS into the tanker's front left tire. The SOUND of crunching metal is followed by the BLOW OUT of the left front tire of the Terminator's semi. The semi tractor tips sideways, snapping the pin connecting the trailer. The cab breaks loose with the Terminator inside. The crane truck smashes head-on into the trailer. The gas tanker, crane truck and police car are incinerated in a big EXPLOSION. The gas tanker cab skids sideways down the street. It slams to a stop against a light post. |
