| FADE IN: CREDITS 1. EXT.-- ESTABLISHING SHOT -- WOODED AREA - L.A. - MORNING |
| A title appears.. "Los Angeles, August 28th, 2000. 2 years and 264 days after August 29th, 1997" We're on on the east side of Cahuenga Peak near Griffith Park. Several small scrub grass rodents run as a sphere appears from nowhere under a tree, vaporizing half the trunk. In the cloud of smoke created we see a figure kneeling. The Terminator has arrived. From the Terminator's POV, we see messages displayed in his field of vision. "Virtual Bio-field deactivating" "Supplied clothing intact" The Terminator rises out of the puffs of smoke, wearing a black leather jacket, pants, and black boots. He reaches into his jacket pocket taking out a black pair of sunglasses; putting them on as the CAMERA ANGLES with him walking out of the woods toward a house. |
| 2 EXT. -- HOUSE -- NEAR GRIFFITH PARK -- DAY |
| The Terminator walks up to a man who's just finished fixing a used Army Jeep with the lettering "Los Angeles Citizen's Militia". The militia man reads the L.A. Times. He eyes the headline "L.A. city council passes wave of new anti-gun laws". He wads up the paper and tosses it down on the hood. It lands next to a copy of "THE TURNER DIARIES". The militia man is dressed in military fatigues, buzz cut blond hair, blue eyes, skinny, about 5' 8". His posture and mannerism is not military; alas the typical militia person. The MILITIA MAN turns to see the Terminator. The Terminator eyes the jeep and several weapons lying in the back. |
